I am trying hard to keep up with today's technology, but I have to tell you, my granddaughter can type circles around me! And texting! I took two years of typing in high school. Now you just have to use your two thumbs! She can fly! With practice, I got pretty good at it. Nothing like her, though.
I still have trouble understanding the difference between Ipods, MP3's and Zune. I don't know the difference between Facebook and MySpace. But I am moving forward! I have this blog now and I have a page on Facebook. I can access UTube and download music and videos. So, I guess you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! lol.
Don't think I'll get to write on my book today. Spent time at Mom's and now it's getting late. I have two stories I need to critique anyway. Guess I'd better get started! Persevere!

I am gradually getting the hang of texting, but the buttons still feel insanely small. There are days when I miss the simpler life of my childhood, when we had one rotary dial phone, rented from the phone company. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI miss it too, but I love not having to pay long-distance charges, especially since my granddaughter moved across the country! Of course, I pay much more for my cell phone than we ever did before. I recently upgraded to a larger cell phone and the buttons are slightly larger so I can text more easily now. But I still have to call my granddaughter to find out how to do some things!
